Construction Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking a Construction Engineer to work as part of our Construction Management (CM) Team on complex highway and bridge projects throughout the greater Philadelphia region. Candidate will provide technical support to our CM Team and assist with active construction projects.

Job Responsibilities


  • Assist CM Team in heavy highway and bridge construction projects, monitoring costs, schedule, claims, etc.
  • Conduct project meetings and document meetings with minutes.
  • Oversee project submissions, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.
  • Coordinate between the owner, contractors, designers, etc. involved in construction process.
  • Monitor construction activities for conformance with contract documents.
  • Community outreach - coordinate construction with affected parties, including local municipalities, general public, local businesses, etc.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Construction Management or related field is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineering in Training (EIT) Certification or is preferred.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in the design, inspection, or construction management of heavy highway/bridge projects.
  • PennDOT experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.
