Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Analytic Consultant II within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with Government clients to understand their business needs, define research objectives, identify data sources, and develop analysis plans
Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to proactively identify and develop solutions for clients' business problems
Conduct exploratory analyses on large-scale Government data sources
Develop recommendations based on research and analysis
Communicate findings and recommendations to colleagues and clients in a variety of formats (e.g., written reports, briefing decks, oral presentations, etc.)
Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds
Takes ownership of tasks and develops high-quality work products with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in economic, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or other quantitative field, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail
Ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency is required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance)
2- 3 years of professional experience
2 -3 years of depth understanding of data constructs, basic statistical concepts, and analytical methods
2 - 3 years of experience formulating data-driven recommendations
Comfortable working on projects and with teams with heavy technical focus, including data analytics, machine learning, and/or business intelligence technologies
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in a remote team environment
Prior federal consulting experience or industry knowledge preferred
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $56,700 to $87,900. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt.
