Data Analysis Coordinator II, Admissions HV-CS-102524-1 In order to be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. This position is available for internal employees, must be currently employed by either HVCC or the EOC. RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have been legal residents of New York State for at least FOUR months immediately preceding the date of the test. Pursuant to subdivision 4a of Sec. 23 of the Civil Service Law, preference may be given to successful candidates who have been legal residents of the municipality to which the appointment is to be made for at least FOUR months preceding the date of the written test. This is a provisional appointment. Selected candidate will need to sit, pass and be eligible on the next available Rensselaer County Civil Service Exam for Data Analysis Coordinator II in order to be considered for permanent appointment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or closely related field and one year of related experience (OR) High School Diploma or equivalency and three years of experience involving database management (OR) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits above. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Data Analysis Coordinator II reports to XXX or their designee and performs the following duties: • Designs, maintains and updates complex or multiple databases through data entry and creation of file structures. • Receives requests for data or reports and produces same without specific instruction or standardized format. • Tabulates and maintains data for time and attendance. • Provides database input and maintains data for time and attendance. • Assists with the time and attendance process. • Provides data entry and summary tabulation of collective bargaining units. • Participates in college wide activities. • Performs traditional word processing tasks and clerical duties. • Performs other related duties as may be assigned. This is a full-time 12-month, 40-hour work week position with an hourly rate of $23.53. Start date is immediate.
