Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Parking Enforcement Representative I monitors the University campus to ensure compliance with University regulations, including parking and bicycle.
Additional Department Summary: Under moderate supervision, this position has enforcement responsibilities, provides information to Faculty/Staff, Students, and Visitors, and works during special events on Campus.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to use the tools and equipment of the job. Ability to walk for extended periods of time during various weather conditions. Ability to lift and maneuver various tools and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Skills and Knowledge: Basic math skills. Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers and or handheld devices.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automobile maintenance, automotive retail, stocking and receiving, or construction. Experience working outdoors, working in a warehouse, or other manual labor role.
