The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a Professor of Practice position in Industrial and Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess significant professional experience in systems engineering or related fields and a passion for working in a collaborative environment. The Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) Department Ph.D. offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering, as well as an M.S. in Engineering Management and multiple graduate certificate programs. It currently has about 500 students and 21 full-time faculty members, including 11 females and 10 males.
The UTA College of Engineering (COE) provides comprehensive engineering programs with 12 baccalaureate, 13 master's, and 9 doctoral programs. It has approximately 10,000 students. In addition to IMSE, there are the Departments of Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The COE's M.S. in Data Science currently enrolls nearly 250 students.
