The salary range for this position is $23.00 to $36.00.Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Quality Tech IV, Metallurgy Lab in our Fullerton, CA location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position ensures that microstructural analysis results conform to relevant specifications and that the microstructures are digitally captured, identified, stored, and processed according to work instructions. Additional activities involve the preparation, grinding, polishing, and etching of metallurgical mounts. Evaluation of grain size, hardness, surface contamination, alloy depletion shall be performed and recorded on routine processed conforming and non-conforming product and. LERs (Laboratory Evaluation Reports) results are documented.
