The Federal Government Relations team is a key function of U.S. Corporate Affairs and is responsible for all company engagement with the U.S. Congress and the Administration. The team focuses on advancing Sanofi priorities in Washington across all business units and therapeutic areas. The Lead, Federal Government Relations will be responsible for developing, establishing and executing strategies to support our business, our patients and our pipeline and preserve the ecosystem of innovation in the U.S. The Lead will serve as a liaison between Sanofi and federal legislators, staff and agencies and lobby on a wide range of topics.



Main Responsibilities:





  • Representing Sanofi interests and priorities at PhRMA, BIO and other trade and industry associatios


  • Analyzes and monitors active legislation and political activities that may impact Sanofi business


  • Assist with preparation of briefing materials for Sanofi senior leaders and executives


  • Cross-functional collaboration with other Corporate Affairs functions, including State Government Relations, Communications, U.S. Policy and Reimbursement and Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy as well as Legal and Market Access


  • Ensures compliance with all relevant federal lobbying and compliance regulations





About You





  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred

  • Experience on Capitol Hill and/or in a corporate or trade association federal government relations position required

  • Strong writing, reading, analytical and interpersonal skills are a must

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
