The Senior Research Manager will lead the design, implementation, and dissemination of longitudinal research on student, program, and employer outcomes at Career & Technical Education (CTE) healthcare schools and hospitals at 10+ sites nationwide. The Senior Research Manager will work closely with the sites to support data collection and reporting best practices and share evidence to inform continuous program improvement. The Senior Research Manager will manage and execute data collection and analysis efforts, including developing and overseeing data systems and visualizations and drafting reports and other written materials. The Senior Research Manager will also manage project timelines, researchers, and stakeholders, and spearhead dissemination efforts. This position will work closely with and report to the Project Co-Directors.
Position Description
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Design and implement a longitudinal study of CTE healthcare pathways at 10+ sites across the country
Support sites' data collection and reporting
Support evidence-based continuous program improvement
Lead evidence and data collection and analysis
Manage project timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, research assistants, and project vendors
Draft papers and articles distilling and communicating findings
Lead communications and convenings to disseminate project results
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree in economics, public policy, public administration, political science, or closely related fields
A minimum of 3 years of research management experience, including research design and implementation
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Ph.D. in education, economics, business, or a related field
Demonstrated experience communicating research and data insights to educators, employers, policymakers, or philanthropy
Demonstrated success designing and executing longitudinal data collection efforts and communicating results to different audiences, including practitioners
Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative education and/or workforce data collection and analysis
Demonstrated experience in program evaluation, including descriptive and causal analysis
Demonstrated success managing complex projects, timelines, and stakeholders
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing for a variety of audiences

This is a hybrid position based on our campus in Cambridge, MA. Salary Range: $76,400 - $130,000
Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.
