Fuller Arizona Mental Health Services Intake Coordinator

Brief Summary
This position will provide clerical, administrative, and operational support to Fuller Arizona Mental Health Services (FAMHS) during the clinic's operating hours. This position is a temporary part-time, not to exceed 15 hours per week, and reports to the FAMHS Director of Training (in person) and Director of Administration (remote). Duties and responsibilities may change as needed, and hours may be adjusted as agreed upon. The FAMHS Intake Coordinator reports directly to the Arizona Director of Training with additional oversight from the Fuller Clinics Director of Administration.
This temporary part-time position is expected to last through January 2025.
Essential Functions:
Front Office:
Answer incoming calls, check messages and return calls, and respond to online information requests;
Complete requests for services and conduct screening and scheduling of new clients;
Greet and assist walk-ins clients or other guests;
Assist with daily billing processes;
Keep office supplies stocked and organized and inform Directors when supplies need to be reordered;
Monitor usage of clinic equipment and inform Directors of any issues;
Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator and FAMHS Outreach Assistant on efforts to establish referral sources and generate clientele;
Assist the Director of Training with special projects and tasks as assigned;
Assist the Director of Administration with monthly metrics reports and other projects as assigned.
Housekeeping:
Maintain the general order and cleanliness of the front office, the clinic lobby, and the staff room.
Assist with regular sanitizing and disinfecting of high traffic areas, including individual therapy rooms;
Keep cleaning materials stocked and organized, and inform Directors when supplies need to be reordered;
Inform Directors of any issues requiring extra custodial support or maintenance.
Requirements:
Available to work primarily during daytime hours (8am - 5pm), Monday through Friday, and some evening hours (5pm - 9pm), Monday through Thursday
Self-starter; able to work with minimal direction; manages time effectively.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to be empathetic and assertive
Be organized and detail oriented
Outstanding communication skills
Good problem solving skills
Ability to ensure confidentiality of clinic materials and client information
Preferences:
Bilingual fluency preferred (Spanish)
1 - 3 years of experience in a healthcare, office, or customer service setting.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance
Proficiency working with various computer applications, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office suite
This is an in-person position and working out of the Fuller Arizona campus.
This temporary part-time position is expected to last through January 2025.
Pay Rate:
Salary rate the seminary expects to pay: $20 - $22 per hours USD
