This Financial Analysis Lead Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the financial analysis through data analytics for the Tennessee and Carolinas Medicare market within the Finance. The analyst will focus on the analysis of medical claims, revenue and related financial information to make recommendations based on relevant findings. We seek an analyst that will provide operational and analytical support to assist in affordability and improving financial results. This role will work with various team, including but on limited to, Finance, Medical Economics, Network Operations, and Actuary through data-driven reporting.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Enhance, improve and develop analytical reporting to assist to support market strategy and operations
• Enhance and develop reporting to track key financial performance indicators to identify areas of risk, trends and options for improvements through the use of data analytics.
• Develop methods for improving internal processes in order to create efficiencies.
• Manipulate and combine a variety of data sources to create analytical solutions to business problems.
• Create highly effective, visual graphics that tell complex stories in formats that can be easily conveyed to leadership and executive clients.
• Work collaboratively and partner with departments across the organization to ensure deliverables are accomplished
• Supports team with ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Health Information Management, Management Information Systems, Economics or related field strongly preferred
• 2+ years increasingly complex database and data management with SQL and/or Teradata is needed.
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience with claims analytics, clinical data, and/or financial data preferred
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations, driving outstanding results
• Strong verbal/written communication skills to work with various matrix partners
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills to improve processes

*This is a Hybrid role and you must be near one of the office locations to be considered.
