As a Training Specialist, you'll be a key player in delivering high-quality training programs. Your role involves acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in both technical and soft skills, leveraging your knowledge in adult learning theory, best practices, and diverse delivery methods to create impactful learning experiences.


Join our dynamic Learning Development and Delivery team within the Customer Experience Operations (CxO) organization. We're dedicated to providing top-tier training for our Contact Center Operations, supporting both new hires and existing employees.



Role Overview



As a Training Specialist, you'll be a key player in delivering high-quality training programs. Your role involves acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in both technical and soft skills, leveraging your knowledge in adult learning theory, best practices, and diverse delivery methods to create impactful learning experiences.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for onboarding, new hires, software updates, and more.

  • Set up and prepare learning environments to ensure effective delivery.

  • Foster a high-energy, interactive learning atmosphere that encourages participant engagement.

  • Collaborate with the Content Development team to improve and enhance training materials.

  • Contribute to content development, with a preference for experience in using various learning technologies.

  • Assess and enhance the effectiveness of current training programs and support materials.

  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for class registrations, communications, reporting, and scheduling.

  • Generate and distribute necessary reports.

  • Leverage instructional system design (ISD), technologies, and adult learning theory to propose cost-effective, engaging learning solutions.

  • Ensure seamless transition from material design to program implementation by partnering with the content team.

  • Design assessments to validate that learning objectives are met and analyze their effectiveness.

  • Compile and analyze dashboard results to assess readiness, job impact, and business impact.

  • Take on additional training responsibilities as defined by leadership.




Minimum Requirement



Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.



Critical Skills



  • 2+ years of experience in training and facilitation, covering both technical (computer applications, processes) and soft skills (customer service, leadership).

  • Proven ability to deliver engaging classroom and virtual training content.




Additional Skills



  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Strong ability to build rapport with business partners at various levels and work collaboratively in larger teams.

  • Skilled in conducting interactive training sessions using various methods and modalities, including virtual platforms like Webex.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position



$26.50 - $44.16
