Job Description:

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Bloomington, IL, is seeking a Service/Department Coordinator to join our team who will effectively organize and direct service for our customers. You will work with our field technicians to ensure that our services meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. Prior dispatching or scheduling experience may be beneficial.


Primary job functions:



  • Schedule technicians to customer job sites for service while optimizing costs such as drive time, material, and specific team member skill sets

  • Encourage safety as a priority and build upon our strong safety culture

  • Create and maintain service tickets to guarantee customer expectations of service times/dates are met

  • Ensure service tickets are in correct status for material to be ordered, billing to be processed and completed or voided tickets to be resolved

  • Continually ensure technicians’ schedules are cleared of completed job tickets by collecting, finalizing, and submitting job details for processing

  • Provide accurate work orders and picking lists to the warehouse for inventory pulling

  • Run, review, and manage reports to ensure department is meeting customer expectations and commitments

  • Assist with all billing requirements and necessary paperwork concerning service standards

  • Work with estimating team to provide service quotes when needed

  • Provide support to field technicians with technical/mechanical troubleshooting/problem solving

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications: 



  • Must have excellent communication skills and focused on customer service

  • Must have good time management skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task

  • Must represent the company in a professional manner

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required

  • Experience in dispatching or other high volume administration field is a plus

  • Experience in the door industry is a plus but not required
