Description: Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.
Ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured to quality standards.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
Train and mentor production staff to improve performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and quality control.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to support overall production goals.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using production management software.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to production emergencies as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including noise and temperature variations.
