A Procurement Systems Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the procurement processes and ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials and services.
Responsibilities:
Developing Procurement Strategies: Create and implement cost-effective procurement strategies for materials and services. Monitor market trends and analyze price structures to ensure competitive pricing.
Inventory and Budget Management: Coordinate with inventory control to manage inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels. Prepare cost estimates and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost efficiency. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Develop risk management procedures to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions. Team Leadership: Supervise and train procurement staff, delegating tasks as necessary. Foster a collaborative environment to improve procurement processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in managing procurement teams and handling complex procurement projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP(ARIBA, Oracle), Snowflake, Power BI. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
