Job Description:

Location: Owings Mills, MD

Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a DB2 / z/OS Database Administrator at Owings Mills, MD on hybrid basis.



Focus:
This position will be focused primarily on the Mainframe z/OS platform. Demonstrated experience as Database Administrator in DB2 on z/OS 2.4 or higher, and DB2 z/OS V12.



Required:

• Working experience with mainframe DBA tools from Broadcom/CA required- including

RC/Merger

RC/Query

RC/Migrator

Detector

Subsystem Analyzer

• Strong knowledge of SQL and performance tuning.


• Participation in 24x7x365 oncall rotation required.


• Also tools from Rocket Software including ASG-TMON/MVS, TMON/DB2, IBM - DataStudio are Preferable.


• Certification as Database Administrator in DB2 z/OS at V11 through current (preferred)
