SUMMARY
The California Department of Public Health Immunization Branch provides leadership and support to public and private sector efforts to protect the population against vaccine-preventable diseases.
Under guidance of the School-Located Vaccine Program Administrator, the School Located Vaccine Coordinator performs a variety of duties necessary for the support, implementation and evaluation of school-located vaccination clinics and policy activities within the COVID-19 Vaccination Program of the CDPH Immunization Branch. The Coordinator provides project management and analytical capacity for policy and program activities related to vaccines received at schools. These activities include vaccination clinic implementation and evaluation, guidance for local health departments and schools/school districts, and coordination with stakeholders such as community-based organizations, offices of education, pharmacies, school nursing programs, health systems, and organizations and agencies serving vulnerable populations. Duties also include progress reporting, convening meetings and workgroups, compiling best practices, and collaboration on internal and external communications related to school vaccination planning and implementation.
This is a grant-funded, full time, benefitted position through June 2025 and may be extended if funding is available.

Salary range: $37.02 to $52.88 an hour.
Must be able to work occasional flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
