Summary/Objective
To coordinate and manage the daily activities of the Dyeing Department while keeping our main objectives in the forefront of all decisions – safety, quality, delivery, and cost. To provide assistance to Dyeing Department associates on quality related items. To provide guidance to ensure that all fabrics are processed in the safest, most quality conscience manner possible. In achieving these goals, this individual must ensure the most efficient, cost effective means are used to meet or exceed customer expectations. Detailed communication must occur between shifts and within their shift to so that goals and expectations are clearly defined. Development of all associates and teams within their area of responsibility to promote continuous growth and achievement.

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and non-skid shoes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. This employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch and occasionally lift up to 50 Ibs. Employee must also be able to pass Munsell Color Shade Test.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
