SwRI Security Team member. This office provides a range of security capabilities to include physical, personnel, and information systems security.
Objectives of this Role:
Control personnel and vehicle access on to the Institute.
Operate visitor management system.
Conduct checks of identification credentials to validate authenticity.
Conduct searches under the direct supervision of management.
Assist Physical Security Supervisor with Security Control Center operations.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Check individual credentials against access control lists.
Identify unauthorized credentials.
Control vehicle traffic flow.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Eligibility to receive a security clearance is required.
Shift work required.
2-5 years: Access and traffic control.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
