Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Senior Analytics Developer to join our team remotely.


Job Summary:


As an early member of our Data & Analytics team at Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT), you will play an important role in building a data-centric culture, enhancing decision-making processes, and helping to drive strategic initiatives through analytics. This role involves a variety of projects aimed at developing canonical data sources, dashboards that enable the business to derive trustworthy, actionable insights. Most importantly, you will be helping to bring our data technologies to a wide range of customers and supporting our self-serve and sales organizations.


The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an innovative cloud environment, identifying KPIs that drive the business, generating reports for KPIs that are consumed across the organization, analyzing data to inform strategic and tactical initiatives, and assisting less-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will develop next-level designs for dashboards and reports that provide the best possible user experience. Scripting skills, background in statistics, and experience in supply chain or FP&A are extremely valuable.


This is a highly visible role that partners with business, management, operations, and the technical team.


This role we be a remote first role reporting into our Director, Data Analytics & Governance out of our Kimberton, PA HQ.


Duties and Responsibilities:


* Embed with the customer teams as a trusted partner, identify high-impact analytics problems, answer business questions, pioneer data-driven solutions, and monitor actionable business signals.
* Help to establish a data-driven culture by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalizing of metrics.
* Drive pragmatic approaches to solving key complex business problems through business intelligence / analytics tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, or DataBricks.
* Design data analytics assets such as reports, dashboards, forecasts which tell a business story with a UX targeting specific consumer audience.
* Design, implement, and support an analytics platform, providing ad hoc access to large datasets
* Participate in creation of Conceptual / Physical data models and drive business requirements to lead to creation of consolidated Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
* Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Synapse, Snowflake, OneLake) using SQL, ETL/ELT processes and through scripting (ex. SQL, Python)
* Develop custom visualization solutions using JavaScript.
* Effectively communicate (written and verbal) data insights, solutions and methodologies to senior leadership
* Work with engineering teams to enable the appropriate capture and storage of data
* Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and identify new, actionable risk signals
* Expectation to understand, participate in, and support company COS initiatives, with focus on developing a lean mindset.
* Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


* Expert knowledge of business intelligence / analytics tools such as PowerBI (preferred), Tableau or Microstrategy.
* Expertise in working with SAP ECC and JD Edwards data structures and business processes.
* Proven track record of delivering significant business impact, with a solid track record in Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing or other verticals preferred.
* Strong acquaintance with ETL/ELT tools such as Data Factory, Alteryx or Informatica for data modeling, data transformation processes and understanding data warehousing concepts.
* Understanding of basic statistical functions used in predictive analytics and forecasting, including but not limited to ARIMA, exponential smoothing, linear / logistic regression, trend and seasonality analysis.
* Experience implementing best practices in UI/UX design to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that promote data exploration and decision-making.


Working Conditions:

* Ability to high-speed internet connection to facilitate video calls, CRM management and other project related activities.

Education and Experience:


* Required:


* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are a plus.
* 10+ years of professional experience in building Business Intelligence / Analytics solutions.
* Experience with cloud Data Warehousing solutions based on Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, GCP or AWS Redshift and related data services.
* Experience with dimensional model design (star schema), conversion of data stored in 3NF to denormalized form geared for reporting.
* Recent experience (4-5 years) developing data solutions for automation and statistical analysis using Python and advanced SQL skills, ideally in DataBricks or Jupyter Notebooks environment.
* Preferred:


* Recent experience (2-3 years) developing custom visualization solutions using JavaScript is desired.
* Experience of developing statistical analysis, machine learning and Gen AI solutions is desired.
