(Contingent upon available funding): 38,160.00 - 51,720.00, Salary Work Schedule: 8-5 Monday-Friday Faculty Appt Period: NA Job Summary: Administration and Finance Business Operations (A&FBO) coordinates the funding for various University capital projects by working with the administration, academic divisions and departments, and the OSU Foundation. A&FBO also manages the University's debt portfolio and any debt issuance. These functions require tracking project expenses and preparing financial reports and summaries to ensure project documentation is in compliance with regulations, laws, and University standards. Job Summary -Track and document capital project status including the financing and all project related expenditures using information out of multiple databases. -Reviews capital project finances prior to the University entering any project contracts. -Assists with the coordination required to commit funding for capital projects. -A motivated candidate will find this position offers excellent potential for growth and advancement. -Documents expenditures on debt funded projects. -Assists with debt issuance and compliance. Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


Knowledge and ability to apply fundamental financial concepts, practices, and procedures to business processes.


Detail-oriented and good organization skills.


Able to work within deadlines. Ability to function effectively in an active engaging environment.


Possess strong technical skills including strong Microsoft Excel skills.


Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.



Preferred Qualifications:


One to two years of progressively responsible professional experience in accounting.


Experience using Banner Finance management software.


Experience with governmental accounting.


CPA license.
