The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board certified/eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in revision surgery, robotics and outpatient joint replacement surgery to join the department at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the University Medical Line (UML) or on the Clinician Educator Line (CE). Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience.
Academic line/rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. We expect the successful candidate to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients and (for UML) produce scholarly work in the candidate's major areas of interest, as well as teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students. The successful applicant should be eligible for a California Medical License.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor $260,000 - $350,000;
Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor $260,000 - $350,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
