@Orchard LLC has contract opportunities as a subcontractor supporting Naval Sea Systems Command, Shipyards, and Industrial Base agencies associated with workforce and workload management, logistic services, business operations, and total force initiatives. The current task focus is in the area of process and performance improvement and project management. The work is located at the Navy Shipyards in Norfolk, VA, or Kittery, ME, primarily working onsite, with some flexibility for limited telework as the project permits.
@Orchard is looking for Business Process Analysts at the junior and mid-career levels to join the team.
As the Business Process Analyst, you will be:
Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills. Problems and issues faced are numerous, typically undefined, where information is difficult to obtain.
Conducting an extensive investigation to understand the root cause of problems. Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across functions and businesses.
Utilizing your education, experience, and practical knowledge of project management to define and conduct critical process and performance improvement tasks.
Your background should include the following based on level:
Junior Business Process Analyst
At least 1-3 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst supporting DOD agencies, Navy experience preferred.
An Associate's Degree in the field or in a related area a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision, to own your work product responsibilities, and to deliver on time.
Proven ability to solve routine problems and challenges and deliver clear solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and fluency with Microsoft products and tools.
Mid-career Business Process Analyst
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst supporting a Federal client with at least 18 months of experience working with the US Navy.
Bachelor's Degree in the field or a related area such as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE).
Certification as an experienced LEAN practitioner such as American Society for Quality (ASQ), certified black belts are preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision to solve complex business process challenges.
Prior experience engaging with senior military and government personnel (Flag Officer, SES, etc.)
