Location: Morgantown, PA

How You Will Make an Impact?

The Customer Care Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the customer, plant, and internal teams at Morgan Corporation. This position is responsible for managing various customer care duties related to chassis management, order status, scheduling, and deviation requests. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, along with proficiency in tracking and resolving issues related to chassis and orders.

The Nuts and Bolts



  • Check Chassis Change Journal: Regularly review and update the chassis change journal to ensure accurate tracking of changes.

  • Deviation Requests: Work closely with the plant and customers on all deviation requests, including those that are not applicable in JDE, ensuring that all deviations are properly documented and communicated.

  • Chassis Management: Link chassis from unidentified to orders, follow up on missing VINs on orders, and track and resolve issues related to past due chassis.

Order Status Management: Handle customer requests for order status updates, including tracking chassis due dates, delivery status, and confirming end locations. Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers regarding CPUs, delivery receipts, and any rescheduling related to awaiting mount dates. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to VINQ holds, upset customers, and OHC manually held orders (555). Scheduling Alignment: Work on large quantity order scheduling, backlog scheduling alignment, and attend Paper Pilot meetings to ensure alignment with plant schedules. Chassis Review: Conduct aging chassis reviews and follow up on past due chassis to ensure timely processing. Delivery Coordination: Manage chassis pickup receipts and coordinate with plants to improve delivery schedules and performance.

Required Credentials


  • Excellent computer skills, especially in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime on a continual basis.
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.

Preferred Credentials

  • Four-year degree, preferred
  • Truck van body construction knowledge, a plus
  • Sales and customer service experience is a plus
  • AS400 or JD Edwards experience, a plus

You Must Be Able to

Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
