Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $70.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineer-System Performance - III in Walnut Creek, CA.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Create new cell site translations and support of regional build program activity POR.
- Auditing New Node parameter, settings, alarms and functional tests.
- Update site/node translations to accelerate in-service process.
- Optimize 4G & 5G UWB and Low Band features and parameters to improve network performance
- Maximize coverage and capacity with existing resources
- Responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the network and reduce lost calls and ineffective attempts;
- Support System Performance and RF Engineers in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems
Qualifications & Requirements: - working knowledge Ericsson platforms: RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data, LTE and 5GNR
- Understanding of intermodulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
- Understanding of antenna characteristics or antenna system design and selection.
- Understanding of frequency planning constraints and requirements such as C/I, co and adjacent channel criteria.
- Experience using Test equipment including: DMAT, DataPro, pilot scanners, baseline equipment, spectrum analyzers.
- Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Python, SQL and Tableau a Plus
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
