Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

As part of Marketing Programs, the Technical Business Analyst will use data analysis skills to help BAC achieve its business goals. This includes the collection and interpretation of information that will help BAC's management better understand the customer experience, product and service performance, and BAC's competitive position. Additionally, the Technical Business Analyst will identify system improvement opportunities and lead the successful implementation of enhancement projects to drive growth for BAC.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Initiate, develop and execute programs to support execution of BAC strategies and to deliver profitable growth across all channels and locations

  • Compile business needs using strong collaboration skills, thoroughly test prototype systems, and document processes for future training, audit, and archive purposes

  • Create clear, concise, and effective technical specifications for software and process development that drive business improvements to add strategic and customer value.

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline business processes and new product launches. Identify potential solutions and lead implementation of systems to facilitate efficient processes, including training of new users.

  • Lead, manage and support ongoing sales and marketing programs across functions including business case development, program justification, and ongoing communication of progress, budget, timing, ownership, deliverables and results.

  • Drive accountability and efficient execution of initiatives toward the achievement of BAC strategic objectives. Ensure transparency to both progress and challenges by developing and overseeing impactful, effective, high-quality dashboards.

  • Enable employees, channels, stakeholders and customers to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively by identifying waste and opportunities to innovate, particularly in the sales process.

  • Specify and oversee the development of new systems and applications that enable effective lead generation, processing and tracking, as well as improved articulation of value propositions for better closure rate and price realization. Develop systems to create leads from various sources and assign to the appropriate sales team.

  • Lead programs and the development of tools, standards and processes that support consistent channel coverage, successful launches of new and enhanced products and more efficient and effective sales execution.

  • Serve as liaison to IT, ensuring that the needs of the business are effectively understood, prioritized and communicated.

  • Serve as a key contributor to system implementations including CRM, CPQ, Learning Management Systems, public website & embedded tools, document management system and other applications

  • Be a change agent for BAC. Represent the needs of the business in Digital Transformation initiatives and ensure customers' needs are represented and opportunities to profitably grow the business are captured.

  • Ensure investments in business systems are fully leveraged by ensuring that employees are utilizing them properly and to their fullest extent. Identify areas where key technology gaps exist and propose solutions to eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Support and participate in Customer and Sales Representative touch points (public website, eCommerce portal, training, visits, road shows, trade shows, show room tours, R&D tours and plant tours).

  • Create and deliver compelling, professional and polished technical, training and business presentations (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, SAP Enable Now) to communicate and train both internal and external audiences.

  • Develop structures, processes and standards for content development to ensure consistent quality of the user experience.

  • Expand BAC's customer satisfaction program to ensure that meaningful data are captured and that it helps guide and prioritize BAC investments in improvements to our products and processes.

  • Improve ongoing orders forecasts and monthly ops reports, built by contributions of content from other managers.

  • Develop key metrics for stakeholders to effectively manage areas such as sales volume, price, quality, delivery, and customer experience.

  • Lead, delegate or self-perform the above as appropriate

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Technical Business Analyst will report to the Program Manager. As part of the Marketing Department, the Technical Business Analyst will have frequent interaction with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Global Marketing, and IT department members. The Technical Business Analyst will not have any direct reports.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.)

  • At least 5 years of business analytics experience, working on projects and programs in a B2B environment.

  • Excellent program and project management skills, including high proficiency with MS O365 applications.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in business and technical writing styles.

  • Excellent data management, analysis and visualization skills, with the ability to simplify the complex.

  • Ability to interpret computer code to understand logic and flow of programs.

  • Ability to influence and build consensus across functions

  • Ability to plan and manage work at both the strategic and tactical levels of the organization

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a fast-paced, results-driven organization

  • Ability to consult with internal clients to determine project objectives, design appropriate methodology.

  • Ability to effectively multitask and manage resources and timelines for many projects at once.

  • Ability to synthesize, manipulate and analyze large & disperse data sources to holistically answer business questions.

  • Ability to understand and add value to management interactions, with an ability to develop and justify programs.

  • Ability to understand customer and stakeholder needs across market segments and position offerings compellingly.

  • Ability to understand our strategic objectives and train and develop others toward successful achievement.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $59,500 - $102,000.
