Following further organizational expansion within the commercial team at Marmon Foodservice Technologies (MFT), there is an exciting opportunity to join the team as Business Development Representative for Poland, Baltics, Slovenia & Croatia.
Marmon Foodservice Technologies works with huge global foodservice brands, including PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Burger King, McDonalds, and KFC. There are also many growth opportunities within indirect channels and local chain accounts. The successful candidate will be able to leverage, and provide solutions to these customers from the entirety of the MFT portfolio.
The Business Development Representative for Poland & Baltics will be managed by a Regional Key Account Manager, who is experienced in leading the region. There is already a strong foundation, and this role is key to developing new and existing relationships with customers and partners across the region as we continue on our growth trajectory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The main focus of the role will be generating new business opportunities, whilst simultaneously managing existing key accounts within the region.
Contribute to the development of the business strategy in the region, develop new customer relationships and commercial activities throughout the region.
Identify, develop and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing customers as well as providing equipment and service solutions.
Manage distribution partner relationships.
Planning, and presentation preparation to promote new and existing product developments to prospective clients.
Lead business development with new and existing customers through product demonstration, equipment trials and presentations.
Utilize market insights and customer feedback to develop business strategies relating to new products, in order to enable additional market penetration and manage complex sales cycles through all development phases.
Assist and support global account initiatives across the group.
Identify clear commercial and financial targets for the region in conjunction with the Regional Key Account Manager to ensure accurate and consistent delivery.
Represent MFT at trade fairs, conferences and networking events to further build MFT’s reputation as a market leading foodservice equipment manufacturer and supplier.
Conduct assessments of client needs and preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and address any issues or concerns.
Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies
Essential
Minimum 3 years’ sales experience with a proven track record of success.
Experience of management sales within large and complex organizations.
Working knowledge of the foodservice and/or retail industry, ideally within capital equipment sales and service provision.
Customer project management skills with a proven ability to deliver on-time and on-budget.
Basic technical competence – ability to work with customers on technical issues, queries and concerns relating to products.
Strong financial acumen, as well as analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, that assist in building strong internal and external relationships.
Travel - ability to travel within Poland & Baltics region and possibly further afield on a less frequent basis.
Availability to support clients in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken).
Additional Language skills are desirable.
