Job Description:


Basic Job Functions:






  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Claims Department.

  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching and accountability to the team.

  • Lead back charge negotiations and ensure field claims are handled timely, correctly, and with best solution or outcome for the customer and NIPG.

  • Coordinating with other department leads to effectively Grow the Quality Culture within the division.

  • Responsible for initiating and maintaining SOP's.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining performance metrics, dashboards and reporting.

  • Oversee RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CA (Corrective Action) tracking and reporting.

  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:






  • 3 years' experience in Insulated Panel, Metal Buildings, Construction or Construction related field.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent






Preferred Qualifications:






  • Technical associate degree or bachelor's in business, Construction, or Engineering related fields.

  • Formal negotiation training / coursework.

  • Experience leading teams as team lead, supervisor, or project lead.

  • Previous Claims Management Experience.
