Munters Data Center Cooling Technologies Division specializes in cooling systems that minimize energy usage for high performance computing.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Team Leadership & Supervision:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC design engineers and designers.

    • Set clear goals, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance to ensure successful project outcomes.

    • Encourage professional development and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.




  • Design & Development:

    • Apply in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, heat transfer, and thermodynamics to optimize HVAC designs

    • Oversee the design and development of HVAC systems focused on data center cooling solutions.

    • Review and approve detailed designs, drawings, and technical specifications for HVAC systems.

    • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company objectives.




  • Project Management:

    • Manage design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

    • Collaborate with R&D, product management, and production teams to integrate HVAC designs with other system components.

    • Lead design review meetings and ensure alignment with overall product strategy.




  • Research & Development

    • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in data center cooling, HVAC systems, and sustainable design solutions.

    • Conduct technical research, testing, and prototyping to enhance product performance and efficiency.




  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive process improvements in the HVAC design and development lifecycle.

    • Explore new technologies, tools, and materials to enhance efficiency and product innovation.

    • Oversee Engineering Change order process.






Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC design, with a focus on data center cooling or similar large-scale commercial systems.

  • Proven experience in managing and leading engineering or design teams.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy efficiency.

  • Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.




Preferred Skills:



  • Knowledge of refrigeration system design and heat transfer



  • Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable cooling technologies.

  • Experience in the R&D environment, with a focus on innovation and product development.
