CDK Global is the leader in providing integrated technology solutions to automotive dealerships world-wide and is seeking a Sr. Account Specialist for our OEM Modern Retail business team.
The Sr. Account Specialist is responsible for supporting existing OEM programs that leverage CDK's Modern Retail suite including digital retailing, CRM, and desking solutions for automotive dealers. This includes strong partnership with our both our internal teams and external clients, and managing ongoing program execution. This role is also responsible for overseeing success of 3rd party managed programs for assigned accounts.
Preferred location is MI, but open to living in any location in the Eastern Time Zone.
Position Responsibilities
•Manage existing OEM relationships/programs and keep internal teams informed on program updates
•Identify opportunities for growth and/or new OEM opportunities; partner with sales on all growth opportunities
•Regular engagement with OEM national and field offices of T1 and T3 program engagement and performance
Maintain strong expert knowledge of CDK technology stack and market solutions, the automotive retail landscape, and assigned OEM client priority initiatives
Obtain and expand Modern Retail Suite product expertise and ability to demo product features
Work closely with internal teams to align around OEM focused priorities, collecting client input and feedback, and managing client expectations
Use data, dashboards, and insights to raise awareness and to facilitate continuous improvement
•Management of multiple platforms including Salesforce and internal reporting
Qualifications
Minimum:
2-3 years Client relationship management experience
Previous experience in project management is a plus
Strong relationship management skills, knowing it's not always about the correct answer, but how you deliver the answer
•Understanding of the automotive retail ecosystem (OEM, vendors, retail / dealership operations)
Knowledge of OEM governed dealer programs, incentives, and requirements
Ability to take direction, display ownership, and work with a remote team
Ability to maintain organization in a fast paced and complex environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar enterprise level CRM , G-suite and Mcrosoft products
Salary Range: $89,000K - $102,500K + Bonus
