To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.

Perform various positions as required/assigned.



Description


This position is responsible for general labor work while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.



Tasks


This position is responsible for general housekeeping functions consisting of cleaning, dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, trash removal, restrooms, wiping cafeteria tables, cleaning glass windows, doors, and all other job functions to be completed on an ongoing basis through the course of the shift. All assigned work duties are to be completed prior to the end of shift. This position must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, requires staying on feet, bending, and twisting during entire shift. Also must be able to push large trash combos, wet mop large areas, carry/dump mop bucket full of water weighing 40 pounds, good communication and people skills, follow directions and have the initiative to work with little supervision, flexible hours and up to 12 hours per day in case of absences, have basic knowledge on the use of Janitorial Chemicals such as: degreasers, soaps, bleach, etc. This position must be willing to learn to operate yard truck and move trailer to wash bay, able to wash trailer with high pressure water and cleaning solutions. All areas include but not limited to administrative, break room, warehouse areas, and grounds.
