Internal Job Description
Pay is $20.90 per hour.
Schedule is 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6AM - 12:30 PM)
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GENERAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT SCHOOL TRAINING.
Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
Position Description:
This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
MUST have a valid, current State of North Carolina Driver's License.
- Must have knowledge to repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, and motors.
- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, stooping, squatting, and reaching are required in all areas.
- Lifting 40+ pounds are required in many areas.
- Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and very dusty.
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
