Our client located in Oldsmar is looking for a motivated, team player with critical thinking skills to join us as a Medical Billing, Records & Data Reviewer. As part of our team, you will be using a patented, industry-leading software application to prepare, review and analyze medical data and billing records. The position does not involve performing any billing or coding. Our ideal candidate will have proficiency in using a computer, prior work experience and knowledge with medical billing and coding and have familiarity with medical terminology.

Job Responsibilities:
The primary requirement is ability to read, understand and prepare medical records for developing case summaries.
Must have a solid understanding medical terminology.
Excellent computer skills including ability to navigate various software applications.
Attention to detail and accuracy of work is a must.
Must be a team player with strong communication skills and commitment for quality improvement.
Strong work ethic. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Willingness to continually learn new medical knowledge and new concepts.
Must be able to stand/sit for long durations on a daily basis.
Must have strong grammatical and proofreading skills.
Prior experience preparing medical record summaries is a plus.
Any applicants with experience as a litigation paralegal for personal injury and medical malpractice cases would be considered for this position.
Those with direct patient care experience, credentials as a medical professional (LPN, RN, Medical Assistant with specialty practice experience) for 5+ years and/or experience working as a paralegal/legal assistant with a history of preparing medical summaries are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $20/ Hour
Hours: 8am- 5pm Monday - Friday
