Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Physically walk BST/BST-S/Scaife and other buildings to audit space usage (4 times per year).
Meet with Department administrators to confirm space assignments.
Create space inventory reports to send to School of Medicine and other five Health Sciences schools (2 times per year) and update changes in space management database.
Maintain floor plans for all Health Sciences buildings.
Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of assigned small, routine projects and coordinates with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Assists in timeline development, ensures adherence to timeframes, and adjusts project deliverables to avoid issues. Performs budgetary functions and administrative tasks. Assists with external consultant and vendor selection, negotiation, and management.
Must be able to read floor plans and have the physical capacity to walk several floors at a time.
Develop relationships with administrators and set up meetings with each department once a year.
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to learn new space management system – Archibus and Tableau reporting system and attend training meetings as a Health Science representative.
Work with internal billing department to reconcile external lease square footages in database system.
CAD experience is a plus.
Ability to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
