Job description and requirements
TC Transcontinental Retail Services & Printing is looking for a specialist to support communication and marketing projects and manage social media for its brand-new product, raddar.
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Advertising Communications, you will be responsible for planning and creating content for social media, as well as managing the platforms. You will also play a key role in the development, implementation, and execution of creative content and marketing plans in the retail and printing services sectors. You will develop campaigns that effectively target our various audiences across both print and digital environments. On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to work as a project lead with various functional teams or as an individual contributor.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of B2B and B2C strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
Manage social media platforms, including strategy, creative element development, content writing, scheduling, posting, and community management (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
Collaborate with creative resources (design & graphics) to ensure consistent content execution.
Participate in the development, writing, and coordination of content for email marketing, presentations, and marketing tools.
Perform analyses to maximize campaign effectiveness and reach, while providing monthly reports on campaign progress, response and engagement rates, and return on investment.
Develop marketing campaigns for trade shows, webinars, conferences, etc.
Collaborate with industry associations and publications to position TC Transcontinental as a thought leader.
Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years’ relevant professional experience
Solid experience in developing content strategies and managing social platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) with more than 3 years of experience in agency or large company
In-depth knowledge of the marketing media mix
Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), B2B (Business to Business) and/or B2C (Business to Consumer) marketing
Strong knowledge of the print media industry, and excellent understanding of digital marketing, including relationship marketing, social networks, contests and ‘likes’, and the ability to analyze performance indicators such as CPM, CPC, ROI, CTR, etc.
Strong skills in creative writing, communication and presentation
Agility and creative approach to solving communication and advertising challenges
Proficiency in Office 365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) – Canva an asset
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written (regular exchanges with English speaking stakeholders located out of Quebec)
