Responsibilities
Organizational Impact:
In this role for Digitech, you are our technical resource that translates and transforms electronic data from various sources into our proprietary billing platform. You impact our line of business by ensuring support of technical deliverables are handled on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple clients and vendors.
Build relationships with vendors of Electronic Patient Care Records(ePCR), Hospital/Health Data Exchange, Computer Aided Dispatch(CAD), and Credit Card Merchants.
Schedule/Attend weekly calls between Digitech, client, and third-party support staff as needed.
Review various file types, including but not limited to: XML, HL7, CSV, XLS, and other files.
Facilitate the reviewing and signing of legal, security and VPN user documents.
Assist hospital technology staff with setup of SSH Keys.
Troubleshoot issues with files according to the connections import specifications.
Work with client and/or vendors to gain access to their applications for record transmissions, file search, data reconciliations, interface configuration, report writing and scheduling.
Writing/Querying data will be necessary to investigate, monitor, or troubleshoot client data.
Build/Troubleshoot ePCR Reconciliation reports, HDE/HIE data exchange reports, or other reports as needed.
Testing and training of reconciliation process is needed prior to handoff to client managers, .
Attend team calls and report on week’s activities, blockers to work effort, and work completed.
Document new work tickets and work/monitor assigned tickets.
Maintain status of work within the implementation plan pipeline, hospital tracker, or other designated sites.
Work/Resolve production issues pre and post Go Live.
Monitor the Integrations inbox for billing support emails, alerts, or reports for research requests.
Resolve billing support/alert requests daily.
Escalate high severity issues to senior level team members, or vendors as needed.
Uphold company and security compliance policies.
Complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience Required:
EMT or Dispatcher experience helpful, but not required.
Familiarity of NEMSIS data set is desired, but not required.
Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting technical, data, or workflow driven issues preferred.
Experience with electronic file and storage methods is helpful
Experience with Microsoft office suite.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
Knowledge of system development processes as a business/systems analyst – SDLC.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
