Job Summary
Kutztown University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Business Services to manage several key business operations for the university, including ID cards, parking permits, Bear Bucks, mail services, and vehicle rentals. This role includes managing key vendor relationships and supervising six employees, including an administrative assistant, a fiscal assistant, and a mailroom supervisor. The Director ensures exceptional customer service delivery, compliance with relevant regulations, and efficient operations across various business service areas. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of six employees, including direct supervision of an administrative assistant, fiscal assistant, and mailroom supervisor. Manage daily operations for the Business Services Office, which handles ID cards, Bear Bucks, parking permits, and mail services. Manage the distribution of parking permits and ID cards to students, faculty, staff, and guests. Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered in all service areas, providing support and assistance to students, faculty, staff, and guests. Serve as the primary liaison between the university and vendors related to our print center, vehicle rentals, and other Bear Bucks partners. Monitors and reconciles monthly vendor invoices. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures across Business Services offices. Serve as a technical expert for system processes managing ID cards, Bear Bucks, and parking (Transact and T2 systems). Manage department finances and oversee vendor contracts. Ensure adherence to USPS regulations across campus. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree Minimum of five years of experience in business services, operations management, or a related field, preferably within a higher education environment.Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in financial management. Proficiency in MS Office products.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in Higher Education. Experience utilizing Transact and/or T2 Parking Systems. Experience working with diverse populations. The starting salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
