Large Electric Power Solutions seeks an Accountant in Griffin, Georgia to support the growing Caterpillar Solutions business. In this position, you will play a critical role supporting our Caterpillar Solutions Griffin and Power Solutions Network business in North America working closely with our Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain Group, and Project Management groups.
What You Will Do:
Support the financial forecasting and analysis for the Caterpillar Solutions Griffin business and Power Solutions Network in North America. Creating and maintaining reports on financial performance and presenting to leadership to help drive informed decisions of the business.
Support monthly legal entity and accountable financial closing tasks while maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards including supporting a strong compliance culture.
Support supply chain through creating and maintaining reports on inventory and presenting to leadership to help drive informed decisions of the business.
Lead Capital investment analysis including determining Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
Be a trusted business partner to the Caterpillar Solutions Griffin and Power Solutions Network business leaders.
Develop new tools and analytics to streamline financial analysis and provide enhanced decision support.
What You Have:
Education/Experience : Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of relevant experience
Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Managing Multiple Priorities : Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Accounting : Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
Financial Analysis : Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Financial Reporting : Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Professional Certification (CPA or CMA)
MBA or Master's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
Prior experience with Engineering and Commercial support
Prior experience with or willingness to learn new tools such as SAP, Power BI, etc.

This position will be located in our Griffin, Georgia facility.
This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office.
