Texas Biomed is searching for a Project Manager to join our Maximum Containment team. This new role will manage the day-to-day research initiative in pre-clinical research areas.
The Role:
Manages project meetings, logistics, timelines, budgets, and other related activities
Contributes to the development of project-associated documents including study protocols, reports, and summaries
Manages relationships among diverse team members including veterinary technical staff, scientific support staff, quality personnel, and financial support staff
Interacts with FDA and other government and commercial entities in support studies and during study audits
Interacts with veterinary, technical, regulatory compliance, and scientific writing staff to facilitate timely and accurate reporting of data to sponsors or regulatory agencies
Assists with Internal Process Quality Control and Quality Assurance to provide timely and accurate assessments of ongoing studies
Assists in developing and managing grants/contracts including evaluation and refinement of statements of work, project budgets, and milestones
Our Ideal Candidate:
BA/BS in Biological Science plus 3 years of job related experience
2+ years of relevant project management experience (Project Management Certification or consulting experience is a plus)
In process/completed graduate of PMDP; PMP certification, or demonstrated equivalent
Proficiency using project management software (i.e. Microsoft project)
Demonstrated experience working with large volume of data using excel spreadsheets
Excellent problem solving skills to prioritize projects
