The Select Group is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst for one of our top Telecommunication clients. This is going to be a long-term contract, located in Denver, CO (Hybrid).
Sr. Data Analyst Requirements:
10+ years of data analysis and reporting experience
History of working in complex data analytics projects using data from various applications and warehouses
Demonstrated ability to understand the data and the applications/processes that generates this data by iteratively hypothesizing and either proving or disproving the same while building overall understanding of dataset and the process flow
Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration and ETL processes
Extensive experience building self-serve dashboards using Tableau and data analysis using Excel
Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving with little direct supervision. Ability to learn quickly with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
Strong communication, verbal and written with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
Previous experience working with call, case, and order data from sources such as Salesforce, Remedy, NICE, IVR etc.
Experience using Python for data analysis and predictive analytics
Sr. Data Analyst Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and identify and/or develop self-serve dashboards that meet stakeholder needs
Research, hypothesize, test and validate, establish the link between and within data from various sources and leverage that understanding to answer business questions
Write complex SQL queries that utilizes multiple tables and generates the output that can be leveraged in reports
Develop and maintain automated processes using python that streamline data analysis and reporting
Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing
Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes
Document reporting requirements and processes
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis
