This team is looking for a Supply Chain BA that will run point with validating vendor component quote data across all of our clients vendors. This is to ensure our client is getting the best price for their warranty products as it can compared to the Manufacturing side (that orders 10s of millions of more component parts than does the Warranty side). This BA will also assist with the SLM (SAP S4 Hana) implementation for this organization. Running point with UAT. Must have strong experience migrating and testing data using excel and heavy SQL.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Analyze, synthesize and interpret large data sets. Utilize findings to help guide and impact day-to-day business decisions.
Identify irregularities and present findings to leadership.
Manage monthly quote validation process and follow up with external vendors on any discrepancies found
Extensive use of Excel and SQL required this function as they will need to validate quote data given to manufacturing side and cross reference with the current quote for their warranty products
Publish pricing to SAP each month.
Compile and summarize pricing records and files; publish to stakeholders.
Perform ad-hoc data aggregation requests
Process improvement with cross functional teams to improve pricing validation processes.
Implement those processes.
Vendor negotiations
Top Skills
Advanced SQL and Tableau skills required.
Ability to navigate large enterprise databases (preferably Snowflake). Develop models to query and test accuracy and validity of data within tables.
Experience with ERP system implementations or upgrades, preferably with SAP S4/HANA. Experience with UAT and functional testing.
Understanding of a Costed Bill of Materials (BOM)
Verbal and written ability to synthesize large data-sets in clear, concise and coherent communications to management.
Plus Skills
Exposure to manufacturing vendors in Asia is a plus
Presentation skills are a plus (Keynote)
