Overview
A Temporary Electrician at Velociti Services will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. To perform in this position, you need an electrician degree from a technical college and experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Duties / Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
Read technical diagrams and blueprints
Perform general electrical maintenance
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
Good knowledge of various test equipment
Other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
Required Skills / Abilities:
Must have a valid State of New Jersey Electrical License or Journeyman Certificate.
Must be able to pass a background investigation for FAA/WJHTC Badge.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
High school diploma
Valid driver's license
Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge
Experience in renewable energy field
Good team player
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
The ability to make critical decisions under pressure

Physical Requirements
Applicants for this role must be able to:
Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
Standing for extended periods of time
