Baer is looking for an SAP EWM Architect for a 6+ month remote project.
Title: SAP EWM Architect Location: Remote (with travel to Houston or Nashville for workshops) Duration: 6 months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2
Description:
Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions in a greenfield S/4 HANA project environment.
Serve as the subject matter expert in SAP EWM, providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise.
Conduct workshops with clients, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system configurations.
Manage and facilitate multi-country EWM deployments, ensuring consistency and compliance across regions.
Provide expertise in various EWM scenarios, including bonded warehouses, cross-country shipments, drop shipments, cross docking, wave picking, and more.
Integrate SAP EWM with scanners, RF devices, and other necessary hardware to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Maintain open communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and project success.
Requirements:
15 years in SAP EWM, with significant experience in consulting and client-facing roles.
Extensive knowledge of SAP EWM design and configuration, including deployment across multi-country environments.
In-depth understanding of bonded warehouse operations, cross-country shipments, drop shipments, cross-docking, wave picking, and integration with scanners and RF devices.
Experience with multi-country S/4HANA EWM deployments.
Familiarity with greenfield implementation programs and adapting SAP solutions for complex, international environments.
