Description: Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Trader to join our team, focusing on the western states territory. This role requires extensive travel, approximately 50% of the time, to engage with clients and prospects across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, preferably with a degree, and substantial experience in the scrap metal industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the scrap metal sector across the western states.
Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Travel to client sites, industry events, and conferences to promote products and services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analyses.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (4years) in sales within the scrap metal industry.
Strong understanding of metal commodities and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within the western states region (50% travel required).
Residence in the western United States is mandatory.
Established network of contacts in the scrap metal industry.
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
