Walmart Marketplace's Seller Education team is looking for a seasoned learning and development Content Manager/Writer to oversee our technical content across various platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together a comprehensive strategy for our API instructional content and creating clear, concise, and accurate guides, video tutorials, and manuals to cater to both technical and non-technical audiences of Marketplace sellers and solution providers. You will work closely with GTM, Marketing Ops, Product, Business, Engineering, and stakeholders from other teams to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content aligning the content strategy to the business objectives and initiatives.
Ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about producing engaging instructional content that can proficiently train our fast-growing Marketplace seller community on various Walmart solutions and tools.

Key responsibilities:
Content strategy - Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Seller Education to shape the API content strategy and vision for future guides, tutorials, and learning paths. Develop API content style guides and best practices to ensure content consistency.
Collaboration - Create cross-functional partnerships and work with subject matter experts to develop, produce, and deliver training resources tailored for our developer & API audiences.
Educational content production - Plan and produce top-tier educational resources and content experiences for sellers, including videos, release notes, virtual events, mobile app content, and more. Support new product releases with engaging educational content for Marketplace Learn and Seller Academy.
Content setup and maintenance - Setup API content in ContentStack and maintain a library of technical assets.
Content audit and research - Audit content regularly to maintain its accuracy/relevancy, conduct in-depth research to identify content gaps and thoroughly understand the products, solutions, and processes that you will be writing about.
Content optimization: Measure the effectiveness of the API content and drive on-going optimization to increase seller engagement. Implement best practices for SEO to ensure content is discoverable and drives traffic to our platforms.
Operational excellence - Establish a scalable and repeatable process for creating and maintaining training resources. Partner with the Marketing Ops Manager to handle the intake process and project prioritization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communications, English, or a related field
Two years of editorial content management or related experience
Four years of copywriting experience, preferably in technical writing, developer education, and technical instruction
Strong understanding of software development processes and technical concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to learn processes and platforms quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with a passion for processes and technical tools
Collaborative work ethic as a partnership with stakeholders at all levels is key
Ability to adapt quickly in an often ambiguous and fluid environment
Experience in creating multimedia content (videos, infographics) to complement technical documentation
Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to technical writing
Experience with managing and publishing content on YouTube and Vimeo is a plus
Experience with scriptwriting and editing is a plus
Experience with CMS (ContentStack is preferred)
