JOB SUMMARY



Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.  Support Project Manager to provide Project Management support to deliver projects on time, within specified cost per planned schedule. 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Establish project deliverables and milestones.

  • Coordinate among all functional teams and shared services to get the job done.

  • Maintain all documentation relevant to project (SoW documents, change requests, schedules, risk register etc).

  • Prepare and maintain documents like detailed project plan, project progress reports, invoices, budget, costs, project team records, Project KPI’s etc.

  • Manage inventory/asset list of all non-human resources, issue register, transit documentations.

  • Perform various tasks assigned on projects or related to operations.

  • Support Project Manager in planning, control and implementation of assigned projects.

  • Administer the relevant project database.

  • Conduct regular project control meetings.

  • Maintaining regular and effective communications with internal customers and functional groups such as Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement and Inventory/Warehouse.

  • Able to understand project specific contractual terms and conditions.

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings / blueprints.

  • Provide leadership, training, direction, and relationship building surrounding project management processes.

  • Assist with any other duties as and when required.

  • Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

 



 











MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS




  • Technical, Construction, Industrial or Engineering background preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Projects, Planning, Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering activities.

  • Knowledge in Drilling Equipment is helpful but not required.

  • Strong Project and Technical skills.

  • Previous Project Management experience preferred.

  • Must be computer literate and be capable of utilizing spreadsheets and project management programs.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written are required.

  • Good decision maker, able to work independently, have ability to manage tasks, organize effectively and make recommendations with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS



Office work predominantly. Must enter manufacturing operations shop throughout the course of the day to check project status.
