What will you be doing?



This position is key in delivering the next phase of the company's profitable growth by driving pricing strategies and practices. This position is responsible for creating and providing input on Client-specific P&Ls during both new business pursuits and Client retention on our largest Manufacturer contracts and key accounts. This role will work closely with senior leadership, the client development organization, retention, finance, legal, product management, and technology in relationship management of key client relationships. Great learning opportunity for Circana's CPG business, products, and solutions. Strong analytical, modeling, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are a must to be successful in this role. The position will report to the Sr. Director of Pricing of North America.



Job Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain client pricing strategies that enhance profitability and drive revenue growth.

  • Deliver value to the business through pricing margin analytics and insights to directly influence business decisions and drive a value pricing mindset.

  • Drive insights into business performance to support enhanced decision-making.

  • Analyze commercial agreements to ensure alignment between Legal drafts and Pricing output.

  • Maintain a pipeline of core contract new business pursuits and renewals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve long-term strategic objectives.

  • Drive and influence future strategy pricing and reporting.

  • Ensuring key client renewals and pursuits are accurately embedded in the current year's budget and long-range plans.

  • Support the Corporate FP&A leaders with compiling material for board meetings and other internal presentations/reports and other ad-hoc projects and financial analysis projects as required.

  • Utilize the Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) module to accurately recognize revenue and stream billing for subscription-based contracts as well as ad hoc projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.




Requirements



  • 5-7 years minimum of Pricing, Financial Planning, and/or Strategy experience in B2B.

  • Superior Excel and Modeling skills with an understanding of Macros, VLOOKUP, and IF formulas.

  • A mix of Pricing, FP&A, and Modeling experience with superior quantitative abilities.

  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field from an accredited higher learning institution. MBA is a plus.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Must be a self-starter with intellectual curiosity to be a problem solver.

  • Possess strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail.

  • Business partnership experience working with Sales and Commercial teams is a plus.

  • CRM experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Greater Chicago Area/Central Time Zone preferred/Remote, US.


The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is:


  • Sr. Financial Manager: $85,000-95,000

  • Finance Director: $100,000-120,000
