FUNCTION
Nursing is responsible for the promotion of health and prevention of illness by providing patient care and supportive services directed towards the achievement of positive patient care outcomes.


SUB-FUNCTION
Outpatient Surgery Center Nursing provides care and treatment of patients in a medical surgical unit. Supports the nursing care plan and the medical staff's treatment plan.

Typically requires a university degree and clinical license, certification, or training.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred. Registered Nurse. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
