We are looking for an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee K-12 construction projects within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects under tight schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of K-12 construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to solve design and construction challenges.
Communicate effectively with school district representatives, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on K-12 projects.
Proven ability to manage projects under tight schedules and budgets.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
