Job Responsibilities
Pennoni Associates is seeking a Project Surveyor for our Haddon Heights, NJ office to assist the Division Manager with the following:
Overseeing the professional supervision and management of the survey and survey mapping projects to achieve the profitability, safety, quality, and operations of the Company
Preparation of estimates of survey needs/projects
Conducting boundary, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and topographic surveys, as survey projects and in support for engineering projects
Plan preparation and construction layout
Scheduling field crews and ensuring project deadlines are met
Establishing strategies to expand department within the market area
Developing and maintaining public & client relationships
Minimum years of relevant work experience: 8 - 12 years
Minimum years of management experience: 4 - 7 years
Knowledge of modern survey methods and surveying devices, including total stations and GPS
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Attributes:
NJPLS or ability to obtain, a plus
Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads is preferred
This office also uses Leica High-Definition Laser Scanning (HDLS) equipment; familiarity with (or the desire to become involved with) HDLS is also preferred
