Calculate job estimates and create proposal documents and presentations for the client.
Assess and address any potential issues related to the field or design in collaboration with the Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, and Project Engineer.
Finalize the project buyout within two weeks following the contract award.
Regularly create and update the project schedule.
Review plans and specifications to deliver clear and accurate interpretations of designs and drawings for construction.
Identify, investigate, and propose solutions to design-related challenges; maintain effective communication with the field superintendent.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with construction management software.
Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, and building materials.
Proficiency in the department's computer system and necessary software; typing skills required.
3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take responsibility.
Ability to assume responsibility and interface effectively with others.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA Certification.
First Aid Certification.
Education
4-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent technical training.
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in a supervisory or management position.
